These are our highest-level teams. All of our U15-U17 Open athletes (and many of our U14 Open athletes) are stand-out Varsity level players who are making huge impacts for their high school teams. Athletes in contention for U16-U18 Open teams will also typically display impressive physical testing numbers (i.e., height, vertical jump, approach touch).

 

Many athletes from last year's U15-U18 Open teams are actively pursuing college volleyball opportunities or are already committed to playing in college. Additionally, 13/14 athletes from the 2022 U18 Open are either currently playing in college, or are committed to playing in college next season.

Open Teams will be traveling out of the region on numerous weekends throughout the season, as well as competing in the highest division within our region in order to provide the most exposure to high-level competition. U14-U17 Team rosters will be limited to 10 athletes in order to enhance each athlete's experience, so this program requires the highest level of commitment.**

 

Open team athletes can look forward to:

• Access to the Balltime A.I platform

• 3 practices per week led by their NEVBC Head Coach and Assistant Coach(es)

• 2-3x weekly S&C sessions: one (1) team lift in the weight room and one (1) "Essential Circuits" (integrative volleyball S&C sessions) with Northeast S&C Director, Kate Foeman.

• Highly competitive tournament schedule, including trips to National Qualifiers and participation in our region's top events.

• 32-week season (U14 33-week season)

Program Pricing**:

• U14 Open Team: $6200 for the season 

• U15 Open Team: $6600 for the season 

• U16-U17 Open Team: $6900 for the season

• U18 Open Team: $5500 for the season (18s will have a shortened 23-week season, ending April 28, 2024)

 

**There is NO additional travel or uniform fee. However, please note that athlete transportation is NOT INCLUDED in the tuition. Athletes will be responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs for multi-day events

**This tuition INCLUDES postseason practice and entry fees if a team qualifies for USAV Nationals or goes to AAU Nationals.

• U14-U17 Open - 10 roster players & at least 2 practice players (attend all team training but no tournaments)

Postseason/Nationals:

• We will send ALL NEVBC Open teams (excluding 18 Open) to AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL. The exact dates of competition for national championship tournaments vary by age group.​

• 18 Open will attend USAV 18s Junior Nationals Baltimore, MD

• Nationals fees are INCLUDED in Club Tuition

It is extremely challenging for our Club and Open team athletes to play on other travel teams or winter/spring high school sports with the level of commitment expected. It requires a lot of planning, communication, and time management skills. Any athletes who are considering playing a high school winter or spring sport MUST consult with the Club Director before making the commitment to a Club or Open team. The expectation is that club volleyball commitments, especially tournaments, will be prioritized over winter or spring high school sports, and we will require you to meet with your high school coach to ensure your commitment to your NEVBC team can be upheld.
