Launch Skills Clinics (Grades K-12)

Launch Skills Program (Grades K-12)

Our Launch Skills Program (grades K-12) classes offer a unique introduction to the sport of volleyball for those in grades K-12. All athletes will learn fundamental skills, how to be great teammates, and how to play the game in a fun, encouraging environment. â€‹â€‹

Launch Skills Programs are offered in the Fall (two sessions), Winter, and Spring.

​

2025 FALL SESSION 1 CLASSES & DATES ANNOUNCED!

*Classes begin the week of September 6th and end by October 29th, 2025.

  • Mini-Volley (Grades K-4): 

    • Tuesdays, 4:30pm-5:30pm

    • Saturdays, 8:30am-9:30am

    • Sundays, 8am-9am

  • Middle School Clinic (Grades 5-8):

    • Tuesdays, 4pm-5:30pm

    • Wednesdays, 4pm-5:30pm

    • Saturdays, 8:30am-10am

    • Sundays, 8am-9:30am

  • High School Clinic (Grades 9-12):

    • Wednesdays, 6pm-7:30pm

    • Saturdays, 8:30am-10am

Mini-Volley
(Coed Grades K-4)
Learning volleyball at a young age can be challenging. Our Mini Volley Launch clinics introduce volleyball and competition to young athletes in a modified playing environment where they can succeed in our complex sport. Training sessions focus on technical skill development and mini-games to build strong fundamentals and foster a love for the game.

Middle School
(Coed Grades 5-8)
Our Middle School Launch clinics are the perfect introduction to volleyball or continuation of our Summer Clinics. These training sessions focus on teaching fundamental skills and HOW the game is played to prepare young athletes for their middle school and, eventually, club programs.

High School
(Girls Grades 9-12)
Our High School Launch clinics are perfect for individuals looking to continue learning and preparing for the Winter Club season. Athletes playing on a Connecticut high school team may NOT participate in this program. Participants will engage in fun, fast-paced small-group and whole-group activities to increase their proficiency in volleyball skills.

Fall Launch Teams (formerly Fall Club)

Fall Launch Teams (grades 5-8) are a great stepping stone into more serious club programs, as athletes get the experience of team training and tournament play with less time and financial commitment. All athletes will learn fundamental skills, how to be a great teammate, and how to play the game of volleyball in a fun, encouraging environment.

Athletes who register for the Fall Launch Placement Day will receive an automatic placement in the Fall Launch Skills Program. If they are not placed on a team, you will get to choose which day you wish to participate in the skills class.

2025 Team Placement Days:

Tuesday, September 2nd & Wednesday, September 3rd

  • U12 (Grades 5 & 6): 4:45pm-5:45pm

  • U14 (Grades 7 & 8): 6:30pm - 8:30pm

​Program Pricing:​

  • $950 per athlete

 

What this Includes:

  • Two 2-hour practices per week

  • Three local half-day tournaments

  • Team uniform and practice shirt

 

Season Dates:

  • September 7th - October 28th, 2025

Winter/Spring Launch Teams (Grades 4-12)

Boys/Girls Winter & Spring Launch Teams (Grades 5-12)

Formerly known as our In-House Program, our Winter/Spring Launch Teams (Coed U12-U14 [Grades 4-8] / Boys & Girls Teams for U15-U18 [Grades 9-12]) gives athletes the experience of team training and 6 v. 6 play with less time, no travel, and smaller financial commitment. All athletes will learn fundamental skills, how to be a great teammate, and how to play the game of volleyball in a fun, encouraging environment. Athletes will be assigned teams and will compete against other Launch teams, but will not travel to tournaments.

​2024-2025 Program Pricing:​

  • Winter Launch Teams = $500 for U12-U14 (Grades 4-8) / $550 for U15-U18 (Grades 9-12)

  • Spring Launch Teams = $500 for U12-U14 (Grades 4-8) / $550 for U15-U18 (Grades 9-12)

  • $100 discount if you sign up for BOTH winter and spring ($900 for Grades 4-8 / $1000 for Grades 9-12)

 

What this Includes:

  • 1x weekly practice led by an NEVBC Head Coach

  • Includes a custom NEVBC gear package

 

Season Dates:

  • Winter Session: November 24, 2024 - February 23, 2025

    • Winter Break December 22nd, 2024-January 1st, 2025

    • No training sessions Dec 1, Feb 2, and Feb 9

  • Spring Session: March 9, 2025 - May 18, 2025

    • No training sessions April 20 and May 11

SPRING 2025 SESSION TIMES

  • U12-U14 Launch Teams - 2:00pm - 4:00pm

  • U15-U18 Launch Teams - 11:30am - 1:30pm
